Santa - If you are listening, all I want for Christmas is a three compartment compost bin! This is a part of living sustainably in the urban Ohio that I am missing. Black Friday
Now that we are once again entering the holiday season we must face the duality of sustainability and commercialism. As we are tempted by advertisements and amazing deals, we must constantly remind ourselves of our values and consider environmentally friendly vs. convenient. It is a constant battle to protect our ideals through scrutinizing each product
In appreciation of the local shops, I will be visiting places in Ashland and Medina County. Favorites are the Parsley Pot, Gleaner Antique Shop, Days of Yore, Hemlock Cottage and Root Candles.Remember to prioritize locally produced and cleanly produced items.
